Sardinia is a place of wide horizons, turquoise water, and landscapes that feel untouched.
Our Sardinia Kayak Tour invites you to explore this extraordinary coastline at a gentle, human pace, paddling beneath cliffs, gliding over transparent water, and slipping into quiet coves that can only be reached by kayak.

It’s a trip of pure freedom, shaped by wind, light, and the rhythm of the sea.

Duration: 8 days/7nights or 7 days/6nights

Activities: Food/Cultural/Kayaking

Physical rating: Moderate - With some challenge

Why Sardinia Is a Kayaker’s Dream

Sardinia’s coastline is famous for its raw beauty:

  • water so clear you can see the sand ripple beneath your kayak

  • limestone cliffs carved by wind and time

  • hidden beaches that feel like private worlds

  • a sense of space and silence that’s rare in the Mediterranean

The island’s protected bays and calm mornings make it ideal for both beginners and experienced paddlers who want a deeper connection with nature.

What Your Day on the Water Feels Like

We begin with a relaxed introduction to the equipment and a short safety briefing.
Once on the water, the coastline opens up, long stretches of rock, bright pools of shallow water, and coves where you can pause for a swim or simply float and look around.

We move with the sea, stopping when something beautiful calls us in: a cave, a quiet beach, a patch of water glowing in the sun.

Every tour is shaped by the group’s rhythm and the day’s conditions, keeping the experience safe, calm, and deeply enjoyable.

Who This Experience Is For

This tour is perfect for:

  • travelers who love wild, unspoiled landscapes

  • beginners with some experience in open water and waves who want a safe introduction to sea kayaking

  • photographers and nature lovers

  • anyone seeking a quiet, spacious day far from crowds

Some kayaking experience is required. Good fitness level.

Is this trip right for me?

This journey is a sea kayaking expedition designed for beginner paddlers with a good level of finess, meaning able to paddle an average of 8 miles a day.

Paddlers with experience in a challengin sea state:

    • Wind up to about 12 mph
    • Waves up to about 1 foot
    • Light to moderate current
    • Small surf zones
    • Dynamic but manageable condition

It’s a relaxed paddle tour, not a race

You will need to:

  • Be comfortable sitting in a kayak for a few hours and be confident  getting in and out of a sit in kayak
  • Be able to paddle at a steady, easy pace even with some waves
  • Follow basic safety instructions from the guide
  • Have a spirit of curiosity and enjoyment rather than competition

Over the duration of the trip, the sea may surprise us with unpleasant conditions and weather. We will have to change the itinerary and maybe going hiking and discover the Island from a different point of view.  It’s a challenge, yes, but  you’ll discover strength you didn’t know you had and finish feeling empowered, and unstoppable.

This is an active adventure, and we want you to feel at ease with what’s involved:

  • Expect to paddle 3-5 hours a day in a tandem sit in kayak, out on open sea conditions with waves up to 2 feet.
  • You’ll be in and out of the water, you will get your feet wet. It's very unlikely but possible to have an unexpected swim.
  • If swimming isn’t your comfort zone, please let us know and we’ll work with you.
  • A good level of fitness is important, especially since breezy days on the water can require quite a bit of extra effort.
  • Physical Rating: Moderate with some challenge, 3 to 5 hours of activity most days, an average of 8mi a day.
